TULALIP, Wash. (September 23, 2022) – A fiesta for the tastebuds is coming to Tulalip Resort Casino with the opening of Salish Sun Taqueria, Bar & Burgers, the resort casino’s newest casual dining attraction opening Friday, September 23. For guests 21 and over, the casino’s newest dining venue will serve south-of-the-border influenced dishes, signature burgers with an exceptional selection of agave craft cocktails. The bright new dining area is located in the space previously occupied by the Eagles Buffet.
When all you want is everything, the Salish Sun Taqueria will feature five flavorful “Taco de la Casa” options featuring beef, pork, shrimp or veggies, the bountiful “Burritos Grande Kitchen,” “El Macho Nachos,” “Tostada Salad Arriba!” and the “Quesadilla Grande” to name a few. For breakfast lovers the menu includes the “Breakfast Burrito” with two scrambled eggs, pork chorizo, a choice of beef, pork or chicken and much more, and the taqueria’s signature “Huevos con Chorizo.” Desserts with a Latin flair include Mexican Spiced Dark Chocolate Pudding,
Coconut Flan with Toasted Coconut and Horchata Panna Cotta. The taqueria menu includes a variety of side dishes, extras and sauce choices.
Salish Sun’s juicy made to order burger offerings include the big “Salish Double,” the not-so-dainty “Salish Single,” the tantalizing “Tequila Sun” accented with chorizo chili and proprietary tequila burger sauce, and the quarter pound “Crispy Chicken” sandwich with smokey-sweet “cluck” sauce. Side choices include crispy waffle fries, seasoned long fries and chorizo chili fries. Hand-blended shakes are on the menu, too, with Northwest Berry, Rich Chocolate and True Vanilla flavors to select from.
To complement the food experience, Salish Sun offers a large variety of hand-picked draft beers, wines and more, including whiskey and agave-inspired cocktails, a globally inspired premium whiskey selection and craft cocktails including the “Prickly Pear Margarita,” “Beach Fire Margarita” and the “Salish Mezcal Mule,” to name a few.
Grand opening hours for Salish Sun Taqueria, Bar & Burgers are Friday through Sunday, September 23-25 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Regular hours for Salish Sun Bar starting September 28 will be Wednesday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Beginning September 30, Salish Sun Burgers will be open Friday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
