Proudly presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, the Foundation for Edmonds School District’s 14th annual Celebrate Schools 5K and NEW Futsal tournament is happening October 1, 2022!

Register now through September 30th! Form a team or run alone. Students in grades K-8 can join a futsal team! School teams keep money collected for their classroom or school, and district teams of 20 or more receive a portion of the event proceeds. The event can be used to raise funds for both your school campus and your schools’ running clubs. ALL donations made to your school’s team(s) are included in the event’s proceeds and are returned to your school (minus bank fees). 

Community members and businesses are encourage to join the 5K, too! When you join or donate to a team, you’re raising funds for programs that enrich learning, expand academic opportunities, and meet basic needs so our students truly thrive in school and in life. Join us on October 1st, 2022 for our 14th Annual Celebrate Schools 5K and NEW pilot Futsal Tournament!

Funds raised benefit local schools and important Foundation programs that help children, families, and teachers in the Edmonds School District!

We anticipate ~1,800 runners and have 36 slots for teams to register in the bracketed futsal tournament.

Futsal, a variation of soccer, is a world-wide sports language played, spoken, and understood all over the world. We envision our futsal tournament as an opportunity to bring together our community to celebrate our cultural richness by playing a game that we all know and love!

The 5K and Futsal Tournament will be held at a new location this year: College Place Middle School, 7501 208th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036
