TULALIP, Wash., April 10, 2023—Banner Bank and The Boeing Company, in partnership with The Tulalip Tribes, Alaska Airlines and others are proud to present the Economic Forecast and Annual Meeting at the Tulalip Resort Casino, to be held on April 26, 2023. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a fantastic line-up, including two keynote speakers.
The first keynote speaker, Geoffrey Hill, Ph.D., will talk about his research on feed facilities and production, and ways to prevent food waste and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Dr. Geoff Hill is one of the premier experts in North America on compost science. In his role at Mill, Dr. Hill oversees the science and manufacturing processes required in the conversion of household food into a safe ad nutritious chicken feed ingredient.
The second keynote speaker, Zachary Mannheimer, Founder and CEO of Alquist 3D, will share his insights on using 3D printing of homes to combat the housing crisis. Mannheimer speaks insightfully about bringing together diverse groups to create prosperous community development. He is passionate about this new home-building technology ad is excited to share the message with builders, developers, community organizers, and potential homeowners.
The Economic Forecast and Annual Meeting will also include the EASC Annual Update by Garry Clark, President and CEO of Economic Alliance Snohomish County, as well as an Economic Forecast by Anneliese Vance-Sherman, Ph.D., Regional Labor Economist for Washington State.
In addition to the keynote speeches and presentations, the event will also recognize and honor local leaders who have made significant contributions to improving Snohomish County through the presentation of The Snohomish County Annual Awards. Awards to be presented include the John M. Fluke Award, the Henry M. Jackson Award, the Elson S. Floyd Award, and the Opportunity Lives Here Award.
To make the event even more exciting, there will be a raffle with prizes, including a pair of roundtrip tickets courtesy of Alaska Airlines.

Doors for the Economic Forecast and Annual Meeting will open at 10:30 am on April 26, 2023, at the Tulalip Resort Casino, 10200 Quil Ceda Blvd, Tulalip, WA 98271. The program will begin at 11:30 am.
