EVERETT, Wash., June 13, 2023—Did you know that there are nineteen food banks in Snohomish County? Volunteers of America Western Washington has the honor of serving as the county’s Food Distribution Center. What does that mean? In 2022, VOAWW distributed 6.1 million pounds of food to over 163,000 individuals in partnership with local food banks.
The Food Distribution Center is an amazing countywide resource. It has not yet reached its full capacity. Come help us dream bigger!
We invite you and your colleagues to tour the facility after a short program, which will include a ceremonial check presentation with Perdue Farms. A VOAWW resource fair will be held with staff onsite to answer questions about all of our programs and services.
