Arlington, Wash., September 7, 2023—The Arlington Education Foundation is hosting its annual wine and beer tasting event, Sip, Sip Hooray! The fundraiser will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the Showroom at Dwayne Lanes Chevrolet in Arlington (20410 Smokey Point Blvd).  Tickets are available in advance online (https://www.arlingtonedfoundation.org/wine-night) or at the door and are $35 each.

At Sip, Sip Hooray! guests will be able to taste from eight Washington wineries and local In the Shadow Brewing, while enjoying a live mix of classic jazz music by Rondo Swing and hors d’oeuvres. There will be a silent auction, as well as a dream vacation up for raffle.

The wineries that will be providing tastes this year are:  Alluvium Cellars, Coyote Canyon Winery, Dusty Cellars Winery, Edward Lynne Cellars, Ellensburg Canyon, Market Vineyards, Treveri Cellars, and Tricycle Winery. There will be an opportunity to order the wines by the bottle or case and proceeds will benefit the Arlington Education Foundation.

Arlington Education Foundation, founded in 2002, raises and disperses funds for the enhancement of programs and projects within Arlington public schools. AEF projects funded to date: Linda M Byrnes Performing Arts Center; Elementary Choral Library; AHS Video Production Live/Remote Broadcasting; Technology Teacher Stations at Post Middle School, Dolly Parton Imagination Library, and over $20,000/year awarded to innovative mini-grants for teachers and classrooms.
