As a concerned resident of Lynnwood who has lived here for several years, I can’t stress enough the importance of experienced and committed leadership in our community, especially in turbulent times; this is why I wholeheartedly endorse Jim Smith for reelection to the Lynnwood City Council.

Jim’s Stance on Public Safety:
Jim Smith’s 27 years of experience on the Council come with a track record of prioritizing what matters most: the safety and well-being of all residents. Recent years have seen alarming spikes in criminal activity and drug use, affecting our quality of life and putting additional stress on families. Neighboring counties have faced declines in public safety, making many grateful that Lynnwood has, so far, been different. Jim understands that maintaining this difference requires action, not complacency.

Listening to Concerns:
One of Jim’s most admirable qualities is his willingness to listen. He has consistently taken the time to understand the worries of community members. Whether it’s about the rising crime rates that have led to early store closures or the specific safety concerns of the Asian American community, Jim listens and takes addressable actions. Residents have called for stronger law enforcement presence, and Jim has echoed these sentiments in his public stance, advocating against cutbacks on police funding.
