The man, identified as a Matthew T. Raymond, was wearing all black when he illegally attempted to cross the busy highway around 6:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 20. He was struck by the bus in the second lane and was killed on scene.

The Washington State Patrol, who’s in charge of the ensuing investigation, suspect drugs and/or alcohol were involved however the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office have not yet completed their autopsy to confirm.
