MUKILTEO—On March 2, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Mukilteo Police Foundation, in partnership with Mukilteo Ivar’s Landing, will hold a “Chowder with the Chief” fundraiser to help launch a new program called Community Cares. Tickets are $20 at the door and space is limited to 60 guests.
At Chowder with the Chief, you will hear from Mukilteo Police Chief Andy Illyn, who will explain the goals behind the Community Cares program and other programs sponsored by the Mukilteo Police Foundation. Guests will also interact and be served by Mukilteo Police Officers as they enjoy a bowl of Ivar’s chowder, salad and other tasty treats. Guests can register for the event by making a reservation with Ivar’s staff at 425-742-6180.
The Mukilteo Police Foundation was established in 2015 with the mission of supporting, enhancing, and furthering the efforts of the Mukilteo Police Department through public safety and strong community partnerships. The Foundation funds programs, like the Community Cares program, which allow Officers and the department’s embedded social worker to have a more hands-on approach when it comes to helping the community.
The Mukilteo Police Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
