Rain/snow mix expected Sunday evening through Tuesday this week

SNOHOMISH COUNTY—The National Weather Service is predicting rain/snow mix starting Sunday night until Tuesday evening throughout the Snohomish County this week with temperatures fluctuating between a low of 31°F to a high of 48°F.

Snohomish County Weather February 25 to March 2

  • Sunday (Feb 25): Rain. High near 50. South wind 10 to 17 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
  • Sunday Night: Rain before 1am, then rain likely, possibly mixed with snow. Low around 35. West northwest wind 8 to 18 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Monday (Feb 26): Rain, possibly mixed with snow, mainly before 4pm. High near 43. South wind 7 to 9 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Monday Night: A chance of rain and snow showers before 10pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. West wind around 5 mph becoming south after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Tuesday (Feb 27): A slight chance of snow before 10am, then rain and snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
  • Tuesday Night: Rain and snow likely before 7pm, then rain. Low around 39. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
