LYNNWOOD—The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a 17-year-old boy was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 6, for second-degree murder in connection with the death of a 32-year-old man on February 26, 2024, at Brio Condominium in Lynnwood.
The 17-year-old boy was arrested in the 15600 block of 35th Avenue West, less than 600 feet from the murder scene, and was booked into Denney Juvenile Justice Center. During the investigation, detectives learned the 17-year-old male suspect was residing with the 32-year-old male victim for several months prior to the altercation on February 26.
Deputies responded to an assault with weapons call around midnight on February 26. When they arrived on scene, they located an adult male deceased inside where he was living at the Brio Condominium complex at 15415 35th Avenue West, just north of Lynnwood in the Picnic Point area of unincorporated Snohomish County.
The Medical Examiners Officer has yet to release the name of the deceased victim.
