PUGET SOUND—In preparation for the upcoming August 30 opening of the much-anticipated Lynnwood Link Extension, Sound Transit announces several road closures in Lynnwood.
Lynnwood Road Closures: 48th Avenue West
As early as Monday, May 6, Sound Transit’s contractor will finish storm drain, signal, and lighting conduit installations on 200th St SW. This will require the full closure of 48th Ave W north of 200th St SW. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained on 200th St SW and detours will be provided (see map).

Lynnwood Road Closures: 46th Avenue West and HOV ramp
As early as Monday, May 6, Sound Transit’s contractor will continue working on pavement striping at 46th Ave W. This will require the closure of 46th Ave W south of 200th St SW and the HOV ramp from the Lynnwood Transit Center. Detours will be provided (see maps). The contractor has received a temporary noise variance to complete this work.
