BELLEVUE—This year’s annual Washington State Republican Party Fall Harvest Dinner will feature former competitive swimmer, political activist and 12-time NCAA All-American, Riley Gaines as a keynote speaker.
Gaines began her competitive swimming career while attending high school in her home state of Tennessee. While attending the University of Kentucky she joined the All-SEC Freshman Team in 2019 and the All SEC Second Team in 2019 and 2020. In 2021 she participated in the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships where she took second and tied for fifth place in the NCAA freestyle championships in 2022.
Now Gaines has focused her attention on political activism siding with conservative ideology and woman’s rights, speaking at a Donald Trump rally and even hosting her own podcast GainesForGirls on Apple and Spotify.
Riley Gaines describes herself as a Christian which has shaped her political beliefs.
The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, located at 900 Bellevue Way Northeast, on Friday, September 13, beginning at 7 p.m. with a V.I.P. reception beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Fall Harvest Dinner will also feature several prominent Republicans, an award presentation recognizing the outstanding work of top Republicans from across Washington State, and keynote addresses from featured guests—paired with a great meal and wonderful company.
“This is always a wonderful event to be at as you get the opportunity to meet and network with Republican leaders, elected officials, candidates, fellow supporters from across the state, all while supporting the important work of the Washington State Republican Party as we make our final push for the 2024 Election,” wrote the Washington State GOP.
