EVERETT—In a bold and unique campaign launch, Alan Rubio, known for his passion for Everett, is officially entering the race for the Everett City Council District 4 seat. Rubio, a long-time Everett resident, has been an active voice in the community since moving to the city in 2011. As a contractor manager in the local aerospace industry, he brings years of leadership experience and a strong work ethic to the table.

Now, he’s bringing that same energy to the Everett City Council, focusing on representing the hard-working families and businesses of District 4. “This isn’t about politics as usual,” Rubio says. “It’s about giving power back to the people—where it belongs. The council seat holds the power to shape the future, and I plan to use it responsibly and boldly.”

Everett is struggling under excessive regulations, burdensome taxes, and policies that stifle business growth. Small businesses face high permit costs and bureaucratic delays, while working-class families are squeezed by rising costs of living. Crime and homelessness continue to increase, with the city failing to enforce public safety measures that protect residents and businesses alike.

Rubio’s campaign centers on cutting unnecessary red tape, reducing government overreach, supporting small businesses, and fostering a thriving, safe community. He promises to be a voice for those who feel unheard in local government.

Beyond politics, Rubio is a proud father of two and an active member of the community. His passion for Everett’s history, future growth, and the well-being of its residents drives his desire to serve.

“I’m not here to make empty promises,” Rubio adds. “I’m here to roll up my sleeves, listen to the people, and bring real, lasting change to Everett.”

With a bold vision and the symbolic Gauntlet in hand, Alan Rubio is ready to fight for Everett’s future—one decision at a time.

Let’s cut the red tape, enforce law and order, and build a city we can all be proud of.
