The high-energy event begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at the store’s location, 19800 44th Ave (former Grocery Outlet location). W. What started as a 5,500-square-foot bin store has grown into a 21,000-square-foot destination known as “The Vault,” promising lower prices, more inventory and a completely new shopping adventure.

“The Vault is opening — and it’s finally here,” owner Seaun Richards says. “Customers watched it being built. Now it’s time to experience it.”

Richards opened the original Cheaper by the Day in 2020. The business has become known for turning shopping into a treasure hunt where the best deals go fast and inventory changes constantly.

CBTD 2.0 Marketplace blends two core experiences: fast-paced bin shopping and a vibrant vendor marketplace.

“This isn’t just a store anymore — it’s a marketplace,” Richards said.

The new marketplace area features curated vendors, collectibles, unique finds, mystery boxes, crates and pallets in a lively flea-market atmosphere.

Grand opening day highlights include:

  • A festive ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
  • The first 20 customers will receive mystery envelopes.
  • Multiple 60-second shopping spree giveaways.
  • The “Keys to the Vault” hidden high-value prize experience.
