EDMONDS – On May 30, Edmonds will once again transform into a walkable, late-night jazz circuit as the 5th Annual Edmonds Jazz Walk brings together more than 20 of the Pacific Northwest’s most respected jazz artists, including internationally respected gypsy jazz group Pearl Django and award-winning jazz trio Duende Libre, across 16 venues throughout downtown.

Running from 5 p.m. to midnight, the event also features standout performers including the Neil Welch Duo, praised by the Seattle Times, pianist Reuel Lubag, who served as a U.S. State Department Jazz Ambassador, and the Steve Treseler Quartet, whose work has been recognized by The New York Times.
The program is rounded out by emerging artists and student ensembles from institutions such as the University of Washington and Edmonds-Woodway High School, with a focus on mentorship and accessibility rather than competition, underscoring a broader mission to sustain jazz as a living, intergenerational art form.
Set against Edmonds’ beautiful waterfront downtown, audiences can experience performances in unexpected spaces, from art museums and bookstores to wine bars and street plazas, all within a few walkable blocks. A single ticket provides access to all shows throughout the evening, encouraging exploration and spontaneity in a format that mirrors the improvisational spirit of jazz.
Produced by the nonprofit Boxley Music Fund, the event directly supports live performance and jazz education across the region. Now in its fifth year, the Edmonds Jazz Walk continues to grow as a signature event for the region, drawing listeners, families, and artists into a shared experience that highlights both the depth of the Northwest jazz scene and the enduring power of community-centered music.
