MARYSVILLE.—Marysville PD detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious death that took place at a location in the 5700 block of Grove Street.
Police initially responded to the call of a subject down at the location just before 5:00 p.m. yesterday evening. Officers determined the female subject was deceased and detectives were called to the scene.
The female, who appears to be in her 20’s, was found inside of a yard waste bin by a local resident who was bringing it back in after that morning’s regularly scheduled waste removal. As of this morning, Thursday, April 30, she has not yet been identified.
The body has been released to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office who will make positive identification and notify next of kin.
Detectives are in the very early stages of this investigation and have a lot of work left to determine what took place. Police are asking anyone that may have any information or who may have seen something in that area recently that seemed odd or suspicious to please call investigators at 360.363.8378
