MARYSVILLE—On June 1, Marysville Mayor Jon Nehring presented the 2026 Marysville Business Awards to three outstanding local organizations. Presented annually, the awards recognize businesses and organizations that make exceptional contributions to the community through service, leadership, innovation and community involvement.

“These businesses and organizations represent the very best of Marysville,” Nehring said. “Their commitment to serving others, strengthening our community and improving the lives of local residents extends beyond their day-to-day operations. We are proud to recognize their contributions and the positive impact they make every day.”
Historic Business Award: Windermere Real Estate Marysville
Owner: Jim Rowley
The Historic Business Award recognizes a company that has successfully operated in Marysville for many decades while continuing to positively impact the community. Windermere Real Estate Marysville was recognized for its nearly five decades of service and community leadership under the ownership of Jim Rowley. The company has contributed more than $44,000 to the Marysville Community Food Bank over the past four years, participates in the city’s Adopt-a-Street program and organizes annual community service projects benefiting local nonprofit organizations.
A nomination praised the company’s longstanding commitment to service, stating, “Windermere Real Estate’s culture of service is not occasional — it is embedded in who they are. Their collective efforts continue to strengthen the Marysville community.”
Obstacle Overcomer Award: Hope Heals NW

The Obstacle Overcomer Award recognizes a business or organization that has overcome significant challenges through resilience, innovation and new approaches. Hope Heals NW was recognized for its work helping women rebuild their lives through structured sober living housing, peer-based behavioral health support and recovery services. The organization assists women in finding employment, achieving stability and reconnecting with their communities while working to reduce stigma surrounding addiction and mental health challenges.
A nomination highlighted the organization’s impact, stating, “By operating structured sober living homes and expanding access to peer support services, they help individuals move from crisis to stability and from stability to purpose.”
Community Champion Award: Symmetria Integrative Medical
Owners: Dr. Baljinder Gill and Dr. Lavleen Samra-Gill
The Community Champion Award recognizes a business that provides exceptional and ongoing support to the community in addition to its core services. Symmetria Integrative Medical was honored for its commitment to community wellness, outreach and local partnerships. Over the past nine years, the organization has helped thousands of patients improve their health and quality of life while also supporting the broader community through free sports physicals, educational workshops, wellness seminars, toy drives, food drives, clothing drives and holiday outreach efforts.
A nomination noted, “Through its consistent outreach, leadership in community organizations, investment in local initiatives and dedication to both patients and team members, Symmetria Integrative Medical exemplifies what it means to be a true Community Champion in Marysville.”
This year’s recipients exemplify the many ways local businesses and organizations contribute to a stronger, more connected Marysville through service and support for the community.
