Fire fighters respond to hazmat incident in Mukilteo, one injured

MUKILTEO—Mukilteo Fire, Everett Fire, South County Fire, and Mukilteo Police shortly before 3 p.m., June 10, responded to a hazardous material incident at Combined Construction located at 3701 South Rd.

One subject with non-life-threatening burns to body was transported to a nearby hospital. The chemical involved in the spill has yet to be disclosed. Crews remained on scene for a few hours to mitigate the hazard and ensure the area was safe.

There is no immediate threat to the public. South Cyrus Way and South Street were blocked off for several hours.
