EVERETT—Snohomish County residents are invited to celebrate Community Transit’s 50th anniversary at a special summer celebration with the Everett AquaSox on August 16. Community Transit is giving away 1,000 free general admission tickets to the game at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Residents can request up to four tickets per household while supplies last. Ticket requests are open now through 11:59 p.m. PT on Aug. 9, or until all tickets are claimed. Residents can request tickets at ctgo.org/rsvp.
The event will bring the community together for an evening of baseball and family-friendly fun:
- The first 1,000 people through the gates get a special AquaSox-Community Transit co-branded jersey.
- Step back in time on Bluebell, Community Transit’s mobile museum bus.
- Check out a Swift bus.
- Take home a commemorative ORCA card.
- Enjoy face painting, caricature art, and bouncy houses.
Community Transit employee Michael Adams will sing the national anthem, and Board Chair and Mukilteo Mayor Joe Marine will throw out the first pitch. The celebration is part of Community Transit’s yearlong recognition of 50 years of connecting people throughout Snohomish County.
