South County Fire will host five free Kids Fire Camps beginning July 23. The camps give children and their caregivers an interactive opportunity to connect with their neighborhood firefighters while learning important safety skills.

Each camp lasts one to two hours and will be held at locations throughout South County Fire’s service area. Community members are welcome to drop in at any time during camp hours. To ensure children’s safety, caregivers are asked to remain on site for the duration of their visit and should not drop off children unattended.

Activities put a summer spin on fire and emergency education, allowing kids to learn and have fun as they take on challenges. Returning campers can look forward to new attractions, offering a fresh experience even for those who attended last year’s camps.

Registration is not required to attend, but residents may sign up to receive an email confirmation and reminder. Visit https://www.eventbrite.com/o/south-county-fire-121307302378.
