Coffee Chats Explores How Circular Economy Turns Efficiency into Opportunity 

EVERETT — Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) hosts Circular Economy and Industrial Symbiosis: From Efficiency to Opportunity on Tuesday, August 11, via Zoom as part of its monthly Coffee Chats series in partnership with 425 Business Magazine.

“As supply chains and resource costs continue to shift, businesses across Snohomish County are looking for innovative ways to remain competitive while building long-term resilience,” says Ray Stephanson, President and CEO of Economic Alliance Snohomish County. “This conversation gives organizations practical ideas and collaborative strategies that can turn resource challenges into new opportunities for growth.” 

Featuring Kyle Gitchell, Circular Economy Development Director with the Washington State Department of Commerce, this discussion will explore Washington’s emerging circular economy initiatives and how industrial symbiosis can help businesses unlock new value from existing resources to reduce waste and improve efficiency.  

Attendees should join to learn practical strategies that can reduce costs, improve supply chain reliability, and create new revenue opportunities through collaboration. The session is especially useful for manufacturers, business leaders, and organizations working on sustainability or regional economic development.
