Powerball jackpot hits $856 million, Everett and Monroe tickets among four $50K Powerball wins

OLYMPIA — The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $856 million after no top-tier winners in Wednesday’s drawing, officially ranking it as the eighth-largest prize in the game’s history, Washington’s Lottery announced. The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 7:59 p.m. PT, with the estimated jackpot at $856 million.

The Powerball jackpot continues to grow following a series of rollovers. In the past week alone, Washington players have won four separate $50,000 prizes by matching four white balls and the Powerball. The retailers that sold the winning tickets are:

  • AM/PM at 220 SE Everett Mall Way in Everett (August 5, 2026 drawing)
  • 7-Eleven at 3120 S 176th Street in SeaTac (August 3, 2026 drawing)
  • Amboy Market at 39812 NE 216th Avenue in Amboy (August 1, 2026 drawing)
  • 76 station at 16361 W Main Street in Monroe (August 1, 2026 drawing)

Powerball tickets remain available for purchase at authorized Washington’s Lottery retail locations throughout the state. Players can find nearby retailers on the Washington’s Lottery website.

Drawings take place at 7:59 p.m. Pacific time every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Ticket sales end at 6:45 p.m. PT on the day of a drawing and resume at 6:46 p.m. the same day.

Players may add optional features for $1 each: Power Play, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes according to a randomly selected multiplier drawn each night, and Double Play, which enters the ticket into a second-chance drawing held at 8:30 p.m. with a top prize of up to $10 million.
