ARLINGTON – Village Community Services (VCS) invites the community to come together in support of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at its 2026 annual fundraiser, Opening Doors, taking place Thursday, September 17, at Glen Eagle Golf Course in Arlington.
Tickets are now on sale for the annual event, which raises critical funds to support VCS programs and services that help individuals live, work, connect, and thrive within their communities. Tickets and additional event information are available at https://secure.qgiv.com/event/vcs2026/.
“Opening Doors is about creating opportunities for the people we serve to build lives that are meaningful, connected, and uniquely their own,” said Sarah Mulligan, Chief Executive Officer of Village Community Services. “When our community comes together to support this work, we open more doors to independence, employment, housing, relationships, and experiences that allow every individual to thrive.”
Rather than a traditional seated fundraising dinner, Opening Doors will offer guests an opportunity to move throughout the event and experience an evening of food, live music from Voices of the Village, connection, and giving. A robust silent auction will feature a variety of donated experiences, getaways, dining opportunities, and packages, while the interactive Wishing Grove will offer another way for guests to directly support the needs of VCS programs and the individuals they serve. Throughout the evening, guests will also have opportunities to learn more about the people, programs, and community partnerships at the heart of Village Community Services.
Proceeds from Opening Doors will help VCS continue providing programs and services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Snohomish County.
Opening Doors will take place Thursday, September 17, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Glen Eagle Golf Course in Arlington.
