EVERETT — Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) invites the community to the 2026 State of the Station, presented by the Port of Everett, on October 15. This year’s annual theme is “Naval Station Everett: Driving Economic Impact and Community Strength” and will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to learn more about the vital work happening at Naval Station Everett (NSE).
Captain Stacy Wuthier, commanding officer of NSE, will deliver the State of the Station address, providing an annual update of the station’s priorities, ongoing projects, national defense role and community impact.
As one of Snohomish County’s top employers, Naval Station Everett plays a significant role in the local economy and community. The Navy Region’s most recent economic assessment of NSE estimated the annual economic impact of the military presence in Snohomish County at $340 million, underscoring the station’s importance to the region.
“Naval Station Everett is one of the most critical entities in our county,” says EASC President & CEO Ray Stephanson. “At EASC, we understand the undeniable economic impact the station provides, bringing impactful investment and access to resources, as well as the positive contributions to our community from the people and families of those who work there. We are proud to continue our support of Captain Wuthier and the initiatives and priorities of Naval Station Everett.”
This year’s State of the Station will take place October 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Blue Heron room at the Port of Everett. This event is open to the public, and all who are interested in the future of Snohomish County and Naval Station Everett are encouraged to attend.
