OLYMPIA – Governor Bob Ferguson and First Lady Colleen Ferguson invite trick-or-treaters to join them at the Executive Residence on Saturday, October 31, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Halloween. Link to campus directions and parking.
Last year, Governor Ferguson dressed as Obi-Wan Kenobi with a lightsaber alongside his wife, Colleen, in a white robe resembling Princess Leia, daughter, Katie, as Rey, and son, Jack, as Yoda. No theme has been released yet for 2026.
Trick-or-treaters are welcome to bring small bags for trick-or-treating, but no large backpacks. In accordance with RCW 9.41.305, open carry of weapons is prohibited at the state Capitol. Washington State Patrol troopers will be on site to ensure a safe trick-or-treat experience for all.
