Congratulations to Julio Cortes on his reelection to the State House, representing District 38, Position 1. I wish him success as he serves Everett, Marysville and Tulalip.
As ballots continue to be counted, I’m grateful to the more than 12,000 voters who supported me and to everyone who volunteered, donated or shared their concerns. Together, we offered voters a choice and brought important issues to the forefront.
I’m proud that Cascade Party Washington brought fresh ideas and a new voice to this election. I encourage Democrats, Republicans and independents to visit http://cascadeparty.org, click “Interact” and join us in challenging politics as usual. Our communities grow stronger when we listen to one another and work toward shared goals.
We can be disappointed today and still be hopeful about tomorrow. This campaign ends, but our service continues. Our community’s best days are still ours to build.
Thank you for believing in me. Let’s keep believing in one another.
Making Washington Better Together.
