🚨UPDATE 5 p.m. Aug 12 🚨Current Turnout: 26.77% up from 26.73% the previous day. Expected county turnout is 28%. Lynnwood turnout is 28.32%. All results are current as of posted update. The next update is set for 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13.

🚨UPDATE 5 p.m. Aug 12 🚨 Today, Garth Fell, Snohomish County Auditor, confirmed with the Lynnwood Times that because the second slot for Lynnwood Position 2 and Mukilteo Position 3 races are within the one-quarter of one percent difference, 2 votes and 7 votes respectively, both races will require a hand recount. If the second and third place finishers are tied after the recount, the candidate to move forward to the General Election will be determined by a coin flip.

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash., August 3, 2021 – Initial results as of 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 4, have several candidates leading to make it to the November general election.  Results are based on ballots counted as of Tuesday, Aug. 3. Primary election results will be certified Aug. 17.

As of the date of this article, 19.01 percent (97,096) of county-wide ballots have been returned. The expected final turnout is expected to be higher than usual over the next few days.

“So we are trending towards a 28% turnout,” Garth Fell, Snohomish County Auditor told the Lynnwood Times. “That is a bit higher than recent odd year elections with our averaging being about 25% over the last 10 years.  The turnout in 2019 was 24%.  If we continue at our present trend, we should surpass that this Primary.”

Only the top two candidates qualify for the November 5 general election. A full listing of results are available for each drop date below:
