Girls on the Run Snohomish County – Registration now open

Welcome to Girls on the Run! – a life-changing, non-profit program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.

Practices start the week of March 9th for Everett, Mukilteo and Snohomish sites, and March 16th in Edmonds, Lake Stevens, Marysville and Northshore. The season ends the week of June 1st.

On November 4, Girls on the Run of Snohomish County celebrated its open house and ribbon cutting at 6505 218th St. Southwest, Suite 14, Mountlake Terrace. “We are here to help girls make healthy choices for themselves,” said Executive Director Megan Wolfe.  “All girls are to believe in themselves… their dreams are valued and great.”

In 2019, the non-profit organization had 170 volunteers comprising 60 teams that coached, inspired, and mentored 900 girls. Currently, 29.70% of those girls are in the Edmonds School District. 

Since its inception in 2015, Girls on the Run of Snohomish County has mentored over 1,600 girls between third and eighth grades within the school districts of Edmonds, Mukilteo, Everett, Lake Stevens, Northshore, Snohomish, and Marysville.  The curriculum is broken into two parts: Girls on the Run for third to sixth graders and Heart & Sole for middle schoolers.
