LYNNWOOD—The Alderwood Boys & Girls Club is seeking the public’s help in finding two of its vans that were stolen sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, February 10. Now, the community organization whose sole purpose is to provide a safe and supportive space for youth, is left with one working van.
No photos of the actual vans but they are both Ford Econoline models—one a 15 passenger 2008 and the other is a 12 passenger 2015. Both vans have the BGCSC logo on the back.
Alderwood Boys & Girls Club officials are asking residents to call 425-774-3022 or the Lynnwood Police’s non-emergency number at 425-670-5600. Both vans are white — see picture below.
The two white vans were stolen from the Alderwood Boys & Girls Club that is near the scene a year earlier of mass protests against the City of Lynnwood and the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) for approving an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) license for the controversial Lynnwood Comprehensive Treatment Center which is 433 feet away from the facility. The clinic opened in early 2023.
