The Spectrum of Identity Concert brings together the remarkable talents of the Rainbow City Concert Band and Orchestra. Through powerful compositions, we honor the identities of diverse artists and communities. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Rainbow City Concert Band: In the first half, they’ll perform exhilarating pieces such as “Shout Out” by Tyler Mazone and “A Mother of a Revolution” by Omar Thomas (a tribute to the Stonewall Riots). These compositions resonate with the struggles and triumphs of our diverse community.
  • Rainbow City Orchestra: Under the baton of Artistic Director Christopher Hanson, the orchestra will dazzle you with a mashup medley featuring music from three iconic musicals: “The Greatest Showman,” “West Side Story,” and “Wicked.” The concert concludes with the poignant “Ode to Life” by Leslie Adams.
