Applicants sought for public facilities and infrastructure projects

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash., January 19, 2023– Snohomish County is encouraging nonprofit organizations and government agencies to review the Notice of Fund Opportunity (NOFO) and submit applications for public facility and infrastructure projects designed to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the direct and indirect effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, and to mitigate future risks.

Approximately $1,900,000 in federal funds is available. Projects must primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons or neighborhoods in Snohomish County.

Interested applicants are encouraged to attend a virtual application workshop on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Information on how to access the virtual (Zoom) meeting and details of eligibility and other program requirements are available in the NOFO starting today, Wednesday, January 19, 2023, at: CDBG-CV3 Public Facility & Infrastructure Application

Applications must be completed and received at the Snohomish County Human Services Department  by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023.
