Arlington installs new outdoor maps for better visitor experience

ARLINGTON, Wash., February 12, 2023—New outdoor wayfinding (artsy) maps were recently added to four locations on Centennial Trail in Arlington. The maps were installed Arlington Public Works at the Edgecomb neighborhood, 204th Street, the Visitor Center at Legion Park, and near Haller neighborhood.

The maps replace kiosks and are provided for the best visitor experience, calling out points of interest, such as restrooms, parks, street names, business districts, etc. The project was spearheaded by Sarah Arney, a Parks, Arts & Recreation Commissioner, and funded by the Arlington Public Art Fund.
