CINCINNATI, OH, July 18, 2023—Tammy Dunn, STS, Executive Director of Snohomish County Sports, was appointed to the Board of Directors of Sports ETA, the only trade association for the sports events and tourism industry in America.
“The opportunity to provide leadership and represent the sports tourism industry is an honor,” states Tammy Dunn. “I am looking forward to growing sports tourism and working for the membership.”
Dunn has served the Snohomish County Sports Commission since 2005. Prior to the sports industry, she worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years. Dunn has been a Sports ETA member since 2005 and has been actively involved with many of the organization’s committees, Annual Symposium, Member Mentoring and Membership.
She is actively involved in Snohomish County where she serves on a variety of boards including Camp Fire Snohomish County and volunteers with many local organizing committees, parks and recreation boards, along with Rotary International.
“We welcome Tammy to the Sports ETA Board of Directors to represent our destination members,” said John David, President & CEO of Sports ETA. “This is Tammy’s second appointed term to the board and we welcome her back with open arms. Tammy’s passion and expertise in the sports events and tourism industry will provide strong leadership for our organization.”
