MONTBORNE—A Marysville man died yesterday, Thursday, April 16, after his motorcycle veered off State Route 9, just south of Montborne in Skagit County.

The motorcyclist, 66-year-old Kenneth Reagan, was traveling southbound on State Route 9, near milepost 45 (east of Big Lake) Thursday, at approximately 3:30 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Raegan’s bike – a 2021 black Harley Davidson – veered off the left side of the road and came to on the westside. Raegan was killed at scene and his bike was totaled.
No drugs or alcohol were determined to be involved, the WSP said. The cause was determined to be “speeds too fast for conditions.”
Raegan was wearing a WSP compliant helmet.
This is the second traffic fatality involving a Snohomish County resident in the past 48 hours. Just a day before, on Wednesday, April 15, a 66-year-old Lake Stevens man was killed in a traffic collision after striking a semitruck near Marysville.
