When the pandemic ended, the City of Everett announced that it will not be able to hold the annual 4th of July Parade in 2022, citing budget and staffing issues as reasons. Where: Snohomish River and Port Gardner Bay

For the full experience, tune in to KKXA 101.1 FM or 1520 AM for the synchronized fireworks soundtrack simulcast.

The fireworks can be viewed from numerous waterfront and elevated locations throughout Everett:

  • Legion Memorial Park: Legion Memorial Park is Everett’s place to be on the Fourth of July. The park’s overlook offers outstanding views of the waterfront, and the fireworks show.
  • Grand Avenue Park: Everett’s Grand Avenue Park overlooks the waterfront and is another popular firework viewing location. The addition of the Grand Avenue Park pedestrian bridge is a game changer; it connects the Grand Avenue Park to the Port of Everett and offers a whole new viewing angle for the fireworks. Expect this spot to be hoppin’. You’ll likely have to park and walk a bit, and there are no restroom facilities or entertainment.
  • Port of Everett Waterfront: The Port of Everett (aka Everett’s waterfront) is the closest you can get to the fireworks, and it is massive! There are tons of fun things to do and great places to eat. It can be a bit of a madhouse down there on the Fourth, but Port Staff and EPD have it all dialed in and ready to help guests get in and out with ease.
  • Harborview Park: Everett’s Harborview Park is kind of far from the fireworks, but still offers a good view of the show. Being that it’s further away than Grand or Legion parks, it’s a little less crowded and that might be just what you’re after. Parking is limited and there are no restroom facilities.
