Full Court Press Debuts User-Friendly Website for Washington State Judicial System

Non-profit Full Court Press has launched the website wasupremecourt.org to make information about the Washington State Supreme Court more accessible, understandable, and useful for the public, the organization states in its press release.

“Through clear, user-friendly navigation and regularly updated content, wasupremecourt.org aims to simplify access to court-related information while promoting greater public awareness of the state’s judicial system,” the press release reads.

Key features of the new website include:

  • Easy-to-navigate information about the Washington Supreme Court and its role.
  • News and updates on significant court developments.
  • Mobile-friendly design for convenient access across devices.

“An informed public is essential to a strong judicial system,” said Tim Kovis, Executive Director. “wasupremecourt.org was created to provide a reliable, accessible destination where anyone can learn more about the State Supreme Court and the important work it performs.”

Kovis states that wasupremecourt.org is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government entity, and is intended to serve as an additional educational and informational resource to help explain the 2026 Supreme Court elections and candidates in a format that is easier for the general public to navigate. 

According to its website, Full Court Press is a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization with “the mission to bring balance to our state’s judicial system. We recruit and train candidates for judicial offices from trial courts to the Supreme Court in Washington state. Full Court Press’ judges are committed to applying the law with a facts-based approach that is founded upon long-standing legal principles and independent of political ideology.

Full Court Press is released a first-of-its-kind, comprehensive scorecard highlighting key rulings taken by the Washington State Supreme Court from 2020-2026. This analysis by Full Court Press of key judicial rulings through its judicial scorecard makes it easier for the public to follow those rulings.

Full Court Press Board members are former Washington State Attorney General and former gubernatorial candidate Rob McKenna as its Chair, Congressman Michael Baumgartner (D-WA05), attorney Callie Castillo, attorney Allison Foreman, attorney Jackson Maynard of the Citizen Action Defense Fund, Dann Mead Smith, Co-Founder and Co-Director of Project 42, former Washington State Senator Mike Padden, and Tim Kovis serving as the Executive Director of Full Court Press.
