Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians donates almost $400,000 to first responders

ARLINGTON, Wash., April 20, 2023—The Stillaguamish Tribe announced two donations today totaling $396,700 to local emergency service first responders.

The largest donation, of $200,000 was given to the Snohomish County Fire District #21 who provide fire protection services for Arlington and Darrington. A second donation of $196,700 was given to the Snohomish County Fire District #25 who provide fire protection services for Granite Falls and Monroe.

These donations will help support the important work that these organizations do in our community during times of emergencies.

“Our Tribe is committed to supporting our neighbors in their time of need,” Tribal Chairman of the Stillaguamish Tribe, Eric White said.

Snohomish County Fire Districts 21 and 25 thanked and applauded the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians for their generosity and support to the community’s first responders.
