SNOHOMISH COUNTY—Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) is pleased to announce its Economic Forecast & Annual Meeting, a convergence of minds, ambition, and foresight as we forecast and redefine the economic future for Snohomish County. The event is a collaborative effort with Banner Bank, The Boeing Company, Alaska Airlines, and Herald Media. 

The event will take place on Feb. 21, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Tulalip Resort Casino, at the Orca Ballrooms. Registration is open for Economic Alliance Snohomish County Annual Meeting and can be accessed here.  

Michael DeRosa, Co-Founder and CMO of Marysville-based Gravitics, Inc., will offer a keynote presentation to spotlight the innovative capabilities of Gravitics and underscore the strategic importance of Snohomish County in the broader aerospace and economic landscape. Gravitics is at the helm of pioneering aerospace manufacturing to enable humans to live and work in space.  

Wendy Poischbeg, Interim CEO and President of EASC, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event, “Reflecting on our achievements in 2023 and looking forward to the opportunities that 2024 holds, we are thrilled to have Mike DeRosa share his visionary approach with us. Attendees will also benefit from the expertise of Anneliese Vance-Sherman, Chief Labor Economist for Washington State, who will deliver an in-depth economic forecast, providing insights into the forthcoming business trends and labor statistics. This forecast is essential for understanding the current market dynamics and strategizing for future business growth. 

The meeting will also honor the recipients of the Annual Snohomish County Awards, celebrating the achievements and contributions of key players in the region’s economic development.
