Maggie Mae throws support behind Sessions and Smith

On August 7, Lynnwood City Council Position 7 candidate, Maggie Mae, told the Lynnwood Times that she will support Position 7 incumbent Shannon Sessions and Position 4 candidate Jim Smith.

When asked for their thoughts about Mae’s support, Sessions, responded saying, “I’m so honored Maggie reached out to me immediately to give her support and endorsement for the general election. She has been a positive, hardworking and sharp candidate and I’m excited to see how we can get her involved on one of Lynnwood’s boards or commissions, her skill set would be an asset. I also encourage her to run for office again in the future.”

Smith is pleased to have the support of Maggie Mae.  “I think it is telling that someone would cross races to support someone in another race.”
